I’m James Brook, a product designer that specialises in user interface and interaction design. My background is in graphic design and I studied Graphic Arts & Design before starting my career as a web designer at a small start up.

I have since gained many years experience working within large organisations on a wide variety of projects, including several large digital transformation projects across mobile app and web.

I have learnt that the best design outcomes come from working collaboratively throughout the design process, understanding the brand and the users you are designing for, aligning with business needs and goals and most importantly using insights, user data and feedback to drive design decisions. I then use a design thinking approach and my knowledge of interaction and design principles to craft the best possible experience.
